Legal Practitioner with nine years ‘PQE across various practice areas; corporate, banking and finance, company secretarial, capital markets, real, estate, telecommunications, litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, election petitions, labor and employment related matters.
Career includes stint as the Regulatory and Compliance Officer at Main One Cable Company (MOCC). While at MOCC, he provided legal and regulatory guidance to help secure the necessary legal permits and approvals from the relevant governments, agencies and authorities for the 14,000km long submarine fibre optic cable along the West Coast of Africa with landing stations in Accra, Ghana and Lagos, Nigeria. His successful interface with government agencies in Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Cote d’lvoire, Guinea Bissau, Morocco and Portugal led to the launch in 2010 of the World class submarine cable system, the first of its kind in Nigeria.
Prior to working at MOCC, Ayodeji cut his teeth in legal practice with Emmanuel Chambers (Afe Babalola, SAN) and Aluko & Oyebode respectively, both leading law firms in Nigeria where he gained experience as an astute litigator. He is an Associate member of the UK Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and presently undertaking his PhD study in Durham University UK.
